X-Men: Days of Future Past

X-Men: Days of Future Past: Good old Bryan Singer! As we noted yesterday, he spent time on Saturday shooting footage with Jennifer Lawrence as the mutant known as Mystique (above), and now he's been kind enough to share photographic evidence of… something that looks suspicioiusly like Mystique's leg pinning some poor sap to a wall (below). We hail Mr. Singer for his ability to share, and yet decline to actually caption the photo, so we're still not quite sure what we're seeing. X-Men: Days of Future Past opens May 23, 2014. Monster Trucks: Because the world can never have too many live-action/animation hybrids based on popular toys, Monster Trucks will be roaring onto movie screens as soon as the summer of 2015. Paramount Animation is making the film a priority and is in "final negotiations" with Chris Wedge, the cofounder of Blue Sky Studios and director of Ice Age and this year's Epic, to helm the project. The Mummy: Universal is rebooting its fabled monster movie The Mummy, but it will have to do so without director Len Wiseman. The helmer of two Underworld movies, a Die Hard sequel and a Total Recall remake is busy directing episodes of the TV series Sleepy Hollow, and so "scheduling issues" are said to be the culprit. Now Universal is searching for another director who can combine horror and action and isn't afraid of the ancient Egyptian curse -- you know, the one that comes upon anyone who remakes Hollywood classics from the 1930s. Jackass Presents Bad Grandpa Trailer: It's been three long years since Jackass 3D, and for their next project the Jackass boys have decided to mix a little fiction into reality to bring their cinematic vision to life. The hilarious, outrageous first trailer for Jackass Presents Bad Grandpa features Johnny Knoxville as Irving Zisman, who takes a journey across the U.S. with his eight-year-old grandson in tow. The movie opens in theaters on October 25. [Paramount]
