Jurassic World: Chris Pratt, who is starring in Marvel's upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy, is in "very early stages" of discussion to star in Jurassic World. Josh Brolin had been in talks for that lead role, but things didn't work out. And that might be the same case for Pratt, in part because of his schedule for TV's Parks and Recreation. Irrfan Khan (The Life of Pi) is also under consideration to join the cast, which already includes Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins. The movie is aiming for release on June 2, 2015. Mission: Impossible 5: "Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to lead your movie into battle against the most anticipated movie of the decade." The popularity of Tom Cruise and his spy franchise will be tested when Mission: Impossible 5 is released on December 25, 2015, which is one week after Star Wars: Episode VII explodes into theaters. The newly announced release date will also pit Abrams vs. Abrams, since Star Wars director J.J. Abrams' company Bad Robot is one of the M:I 5 production entities. [The Hollywood Reporter]

The Lego Movie: Chris Pratt's image is featured in a new character poster for The Lego Movie, which is assembling in theaters on February 7, 2014. Pratt voices the lead character in the animated flick, which also features the voices of Elizabeth Banks, Will Ferrell, Will Arnett and Morgan Freeman. [Coming Soon]
