Matthew McConaughey

The Billionaire's Vinegar: Matthew McConaughey is attached to star in The Billionaire's Vinegar, based on a true story about a very expensive cache of wine, supposedly once owned by Thomas Jefferson. The two main characters are a music manager turned wine dealer, and a billionaire who questions the origin of the wine. Michael Brandt and Derek Haas (3:10 to Yuma) have written the screenplay, based on a book by Benjamin Wallace; Will Smith will serve as one of the producers. [Deadline]

Julia Louis-Dreyfus

Force Majeure: Julia Louis-Dreyfus is in talks to star in an English-language remake of Force Majeure, a Swedish-language drama that was released last year. The original film revolved around a family on vacation in the French Alps; when an avalanche threatens, the husband panics and leaves his wife and children to fend for themselves for a few minutes, creating a firestorm of familial disruption and tension. If the deal goes through, Louis-Dreyfus would also come on board as a producer. [The Hollywood Reporter]

Kingsman: The Secret Service

Kingsman: The Secret Service: While Kingsman: The Secret Service was considered a modest hit in the U.S., in South Korea it's become something of a box office sensation. Colin Firth's propensity for wearing double-breasted suits, in particular, is credited with a 64% rise at one department store in South Korea for that fashionable style, while an online shopping site there claims a 38% rise in "formal dressy attire." Dope Trailer: A new trailer for Dope showcases a delightful variety of visual styles. The indie film centers on newcomer Shameik Moore as a high school student who is juggling academic priorities when an invite to an underground party leads him on a new adventure. Zoe Kravitz also stars; the movie hits theaters on June 19. [MovieClips]
