Transformers: Age of Extinction

Transformers 5: Mark Wahlberg will star in the next Transformers movie. He joined the franchise for Transformers: Age of Extinction last year and suggested he would probably be doing one or two more installments, but this is his most definitive statement yet. A script is currently being written by the team of Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (Iron Man), together with Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down). It's not known if Michael Bay will return to direct. Red Riding Hood

Wish Upon: Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight) is in talks to direct Wish Upon, a horror/thriller about a teenage girl "who finds a magic box that promises to grant her seven wishes, but with each wish comes dark and gruesome consequences." Barbara Marshall wrote the original screenplay, which was just named to the so-called "Black List" of the most highly-regarded unproduced scripts in Hollywood. Hardwicke's varied resume includes the thrillers Red Riding Hood (above, with Gary Oldman) and Plush. [The Wrap]
