Suicide Squad

Harley Quinn: Margot Robbie delivered a memorable performance as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad and loved doing it, telling our own Erik Davis: "I am so not done playing her yet. I will do whatever I can to keep playing Harley." We heard about plans for a possible Harley Quinn teamup project back in May and now Robbie has a deal in place to serve as an executive producer on the movie. Her deal also covers other movies she will develop and produce for Warner Bros. [THR]

Cailee Spaeney

Pacific Rim 2: Cailee Spaeney has landed a lead role in Pacific Rim 2 opposite John Boyega (Star Wars: The Force Awakens). This will be Spaeney's second movie role, following her turn in the indie movie Counting to 1,000. Scott Eastwood will costar in the sequel, which will be directed by Steven S. DeKnight and is set for release on February 23, 2018. [Variety]

Empire

Rogue: Terrence Howard, currently starring in TV's Empire (above) will star in the thriller Rogue. Inspired by a true story, Howard will play a former police officer "who wages war on the institutional forces that wronged him," prompting one of the largest manhunts in history. Mark F. Kindred wrote the script and will make his feature debut as director. [THR]

Bastards

Bastards Trailer: Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis star in the funny first trailer for Bastards. The comedy follows twin brothers who learn that their mother has been lying to them about the identity of their father. So they go on a road trip to find him. J.K. Simmons, Ving Rhames, Terry Bradshaw and Glenn Close also star. Look for the movie in theaters on January 27, 2017. [Movieclips]
