Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales: Javier Bardem is in early talks to star as a villainous character opposite Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Bardem would play a ghost pirate seeking revenge. The fifth installment of the series is scheduled to shoot in February, aiming for release in 2017. Bardem previously played villains to superb effect in the Coen brothers' No Country for Old Men and the James Bond adventure Skyfall (above). [The Wrap]

Jurassic World

Jurassic World: Director Colin Trevorrow debuted the first official poster for Jurassic World via social media, featuring the tag line: "The Park Is Open." It doesn't tell us anything new about the movie, which is heading to theaters on June 12, 2015, but the dark tones suggest that a dark, tense storyline will be followed. [Twitter]

Drag Me to Hell

Love May Fail: After helming horror flick Drag Me to Hell (above) and fantasy adventure Oz the Great and Powerful, Sam Raimi is ready for a change of pace. He's in talks to direct Love May Fail, a forthcoming novel by Matthew Quick (Silver Linings Playbook) that follows a woman whose marriage breaks up because of her cheating husband. Returning to her hometown, she takes up the cause of a teacher who lost her job due to a scandal. [Deadline]

Foxcatcher Trailer: The first full-length trailer for Foxcatcher steadily builds a high degree of dramatic tension. It's based on the true story of a wealthy benefactor (Steve Carell) who sponsored the U.S. Olympic wrestling team in the late 1980s and '90s, including, most notably, two brothers (Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo), with tragic results. The movie opens in theaters on November 14. [Yahoo]
