Movie News: Hugh Jackman Talks 'Wolverine 3' Differences; New Live-Action 'Mulan' Gets Release Date

Wolverine 3: Hugh Jackman says the third Wolverine stand-alone movie will be "very different in tone and hopefully to anything we've done." He says that director James Mangold (The Wolverine, above) is "editing away and finishing that … There's going to be some stuff coming out in the next week or so." The movie, which does not yet have an official title, is set for release on March 3, 2017. [Heat Vision]

 

Mulan

Mulan: Back in March 2015, we heard that Disney would be rebooting the animated hit Mulan (above) as a live-action adventure. Few details were offered at the time, but now we know the movie will open in theaters on November 2, 2018 and that it will be released in 3D. Disney has launched a global casting search for an actress to play the lead role; the project is based on a revised draft of the screenplay by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Jurassic World). [THR]
