Guardians of the Galaxy: Glenn Close will play a major role in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. The specifics have not been revealed, though it's reported that she will be in "a leadership role in Nova Corp, the intergalactic space patrol." If so, then she'll be joining John C. Reilly, who has also been reported to be playing a member of the Nova Corp. The movie starts production next month under the direction of James Gunn, aiming for a release date of August 1, 2014. Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg are in negotiations to direct Pirates of the Caribbean 5. The pair directed sea adventure Kon-Tiki, which received an Academy Award nomination as Best Foreign Language Film earlier this year.
