Movie News: First Look at Pixar's Short 'Sanjay's Super Team'; Rachel McAdams Rumored for Marvel's 'Doctor Strange'

Sanjay's Super Team: The first look at Pixar's upcoming short film Sanjay's Super Team reflects the personal experience of director Sanjay Patel, who remembers his father interrupting his television viewing so they could share in morning meditation. The short features three Hindu deities who come to life to protect a young boy from a monster. It will play before The Good Dinosaur when it opens in theaters on November 25. [USA Today]

True Detective

Doctor Strange: Rachel McAdams, who is currently appearing in a very dark role in HBO's True Detective (above), is rumored to have been offered the female lead in Marvel's Doctor Strange. Benedict Cumberbatch is set to star as the titular neurosurgeon turned sorcerer in an origin story that will introduce "the magical and mystical realms of the Marvel Cinematic Universe." Prince Charming: Disney is planning a live-action movie about Prince Charming. The script by Matt Forgel is said to be a "revisionist take" on the stock fairy-tale character, who most famously appeared in Disney's animated classic Cinderella.
