Movie News: First Look at Pixar's 'Coco'; See Dwayne Johnson Tease His Black Adam vs. Henry Cavill's Superman

Coco: Our first look at Pixar's Coco reveals Miguel happily strumming a guitar. Miguel (voiced by newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of a career as a musician, like his hero Ernesto de la Cruz (voiced by Benjamin Bratt). Things do not go exactly as he planned, however. Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3) is directing; the movie will be released on November 22, 2017. [Disney]

 

 

Shazam: Back in 2014, Dwayne Johnson confirmed that he had been cast as the villainous DC Comics character Black Adam, a frequent foe of superhero Shazam. Johnson did not provide any more details at the time but now he has shared a photo with Henry Cavill, marked with the hashtag "#DCWorldsWillCollide,' sparking speculation that Cavill's Superman and Johnson's Black Adam will appear together in a DC movie, possibly before Shazam hits the big screen. Okja

Okja: A new photo from Okja features our first look at Lily Collins. Directed by Bong Joon Ho (Snowpiercer), the movie follows a young girl (Seohyun An) who struggles to protect Okja, a large animal and also her best friend, from a large corporation. Collins plays a supporting role as an anarchist on the run. Tilda Swinton, Paul Dano and Jake Gyllenhaal also star; the movie will be released in theaters and on Netflix in 2017. [THR]

 

Baywatch
