London Has Fallen

London Has Fallen: Our first look at Gerard Butler in London Has Fallen reveals the Secret Service agent again taking matters into his own hands. The sequel to Olympus Has Fallen finds Butler back on the job protecting the U.S. President (Aaron Eckhart) during a trip to London to attend the Prime Minister's funeral. Angela Bassett, Morgan Freeman, and Melissa Leo also return; Charlotte Riley and Jackie Earle Haley join in the fun. It's set for release on January 22, 2016. [Empire]

Furious 7

Furious 8: Jason Statham says he is already talking about reprising his role as the villainous Deckard Shaw in Furious 8. He also comments that there is "some great stuff" that he knows about the plans for the movie, but, in a jovial mood, he declined to be more specific. The next installment of the franchise is scheduled to race into theaters on April 14, 2017. [Access Hollywood via Collider]

Ezra Miller

Fantastic Beasts: Ezra Miller, who will debut as The Flash in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice next year before starring in his own superhero movie, is in early talks to join the cast of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Eddie Redmayne and Katherine Waterston will star in the movie, which is set in the Harry Potter universe and is described by author J.K. Rowling as "an extension of the wizarding world." Miller is up for the role of Kredan, who has magical powers. The movie is expected in theaters on November 18, 2016. [Variety].

Ant-Man TV Spot: A new TV spot for Ant-Man is archly funny. Paul Rudd stars as the thief turned superhero, with Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena, and Michael Douglas also making appearances in the spot. Look for the movie in theaters on July 17. [Movies Coming Soon]
