The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1: The first poster for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, the third installment of the series, keeps things remarkably simple. Jennifer Lawrence stars; the movie is scheduled for release on November 21. [Bleeding Cool]

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1

David O. Russell: Academy Award-nominated writer-director David O. Russell is heading to television. ABC has ordered 13 episodes of an untitled drama series cooked up by Russell and writer Susannah Grant, who worked as a writer-producer on '90s TV show Party of Five before moving to features and earning her own Oscar nomination (for Erin Brockovich). The project is described as "an upstairs-downstairs soap set at a private country club." [Deadline]

The Wolf of Wall Street: The financial compensation of supporting actors is rarely discussed publicly in Hollywood, but two-time Academy Award nominee Jonah Hill has revealed that he was paid just $60,000 for his extensive work on The Wolf of Wall Street -- though that's fine with him: "I would sell my house and give him all my money to work for [director Martin Scorsese] ... I would have done anything in the world," he told Howard Stern in a recent interview. [Vulture]

Batman vs. Superman: Meanwhile, Gal Godot, who recently landed the plum role of Wonder Woman in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel Batman vs. Superman, says that she will be paid $300,000 for the supporting role. She also noted that she has been signed for a three-picture deal, which is pretty much business as usual for actors in blockbusters nowadays. The movie, which is still not officially titled, is heading for release in May 2016. [Empire]

Vampire Academy Trailer: Actresses Zoey Deutch and Lucy Fry introduce a new trailer for Vampire Academy, which recently moved up its release date to February 7. As the trailer unreels, they also interject commentary about the characters, which adds to our hope that the movie will be an arch and amusing take on the whole "vampires in school" subgenre.
