Skyfall train

Skyfall: If you’ve seen Sam Mendes’ Skyfall, which has been out on DVD and Blu-ray for a week, then you know that a train plays a very important role in the opening sequence. What you may not know is that the East Coast London to Edinburgh service train number 91007 has been renamed SKYFALL, complete with wraparound artwork. It marks the first time in England that a train has been permanently renamed for a film. []

Dr. No: The first James Bond adventure, 1962’s Dr. No, may be returning to the big screen. (And we mean BIG.) The film has been released on Blu-ray in Taiwan, reportedly with a 3D version included, and a listing for a 3D IMAX release has been spotted on a movie-ticketing site. It’s thin evidence, even for a rumor, but a fun one to contemplate, nonetheless. [Bleeding Cool]

It’s a Disaster Trailer: In the upcoming comedy It’s a Disaster, Julia Stiles invites her new boyfriend David Cross to a couples brunch, a regular gathering of old friends that promises to be trialsome, at best. And then the “disaster” of the title comes home, hilariously. The movie will be available via various video-on-demand platforms on March 5, ahead of its limited theatrical release on April 12. Sanitarium Trailer: Horror anthologies have been making a comeback of sorts, and the latest is titled Sanitarium. Composed of three segments set at the titular institution, the new red-band (NSFW) trailer, narrated by the great Malcolm McDowell, starts slowly before unleashing a flurry of disturbing images. The movie debuts at the Miami International Film Festival on March 1. [The Playlist]
