Booster Gold: Producer Greg Berlanti has confirmed that Booster Gold is under development at Warner Bros. The DC comic book character was first rumored to be heading to the big screen last September. Berlanti says that Zack Stentz, who wrote an episode of TV's The Flash last year, "just got the job, so he's writing the script now. I'd probably direct that, or I'd want to." Berlanti is currently serving as producer for four TV shows based on DC characters: Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl. [THR]

Centipede/Missile Command: Arcade games Centipede and Missile Command are on their way to the big screen. A deal has been made between Atari and a production company to produce and finance the films. Both games were extremely popular arcade games during the 1980s and have been adapted for various other devices in the decades since. [Deadline]

Pacific Rim 2: Writer Derek Connolly (Jurassic World, Kong: Skull Island) has been hired to work on Pacific Rim 2. Steven DeKnight will direct the sequel. Guillermo del Toro, Zak Penn (The Incredible Hulk) and Jon Spaihts (Prometheus) have written earlier drafts, though it's not clear if Connolly will be revising their work or penning an entirely new script. The Accountant Trailer: As the first trailer for The Accountant reveals, a young math savant grows up to become an accountant for some extremely dangerous criminal organizations. Ben Affleck stars as the titular character, who appears to have hidden talents. Anna Kendrick, J.K. Simmons, Jon Bernthal and John Lithgow also star; the movie is set for release on October 14.
