Interstellar: Christopher Nolan may have found his first post-superhero job. He is in talks to direct Interstellar, a science fiction project written by his brother (and frequent collaborator) Jonathan Nolan. The story follows “a group of explorers [as they] travel through a wormhole,” and involves alternate dimensions. Steven Spielberg was previously attached to direct. [The Hollywood Reporter]

Non-Stop: Don’t panic! Liam Neeson is one of the good guys in Non-Stop, a thriller set aboard an airplane. Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Unknown), the film also stars Julianne Moore and Michelle Dickey; Neeson plays an air marshal investigating a threat from a passenger on a transatlantic flight. A release date has not been set for the movie yet. []

Texas Chainsaw Sequel: We passed along news yesterday that a sequel to Texas Chainsaw 3D would be forthcoming shortly, but now a roadblock has appeared. Producers Carl Mazzocone and Mark Burg insist they have control of the sequel rights and will decide if and when another installment of the series will be made. The real issue may be about who gets credit for the financial success of the film; stay tuned for more infighting before the sequel gets rolling. [Deadline]

Trance Footage: Danny Boyle’s thriller Trance stars James McAvoy, Rosario Dawson and Vincent Cassel in a story that begins with a stolen painting and then spins off into what the director calls “an updated noir.” The movie opens in the U.K. on March 27, and the first trailer debuted (in part) on BBC TV show Film 2013 last night.
