Movie News: Christoph Waltz Joins 'Bond 24'; 'Paul Blart' Heads to Vegas in Sequel Trailer and More

Bond 24: It’s easy to assume Christoph Waltz will play the villain in the next James Bond movie, which he’s reportedly (by tweet) signed on for. No details were actually given about his role, but it just makes so much sense. Here’s hoping he’s the new Blofeld (he looks great with no hair) and will initially be mostly in the shadows while 007 primarily deals with the new henchman played by Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy).  (Daily Mail’s Baz Bamigboye)

Second Born: A new sci-fi twist on the body-swap movie, which is different from Face/Off, Second Born will involve a future where people can store their consciousness on a microchip and trade bodies on the black market. Park Chan-Wook (Oldboy; Stoker) has just been hired to direct it. (Variety)

Molly Bloom: In case there’s not enough gambling in the Vegas-set trailer below, you can look forward to this movie that Aaron Sorkin is taking on in the wake of his Steve Jobs biopic. This one centers on another bold real-life entrepreneur in the title woman, a former skiing hopeful turned celebrity-poker-game hostess, who got in trouble because the games were secret and illegal. The question now is, will we get cameos from regulars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon or actors playing the movie stars? (Deadline)

Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 trailer: Be honest, will you be seeing the Paul Blart sequel for his fight with a large bird or for the scene where he punches an old-lady maid in the gut? Or are you just really wishing there were another Ocean’s movie, and Kevin James’s relocation to Las Vegas to guard a hotel and casino from a heist is the best there is?
