Agent Carter: With Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. poised to debut on TV next Tuesday, Marvel is forging ahead with its next idea for a small-screen series. Agent Carter would focus on Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), who was introduced to movie fans in Captain America: The First Avenger. Her character is further developed as a "budding secret agent" in a short film included on the upcoming Blu-ray version of Iron Man 3, and the series would follow her continuing adventures. The project is still in the early stages. [Deadline]

Trumbo: As the final two episodes of the highly acclaimed TV series Breaking Bad prepare to air, star Bryan Cranston is looking to transition from meth dealer to blacklist breaker. He will play noted screenwriter and novelist Dalton Trumbo, who was blacklisted by Hollywood for refusing to testify before a congressional committee that claimed it was rooting out Communist influence on motion pictures. The project, entitled simply Trumbo, hopes to start production next year under the direction of Jay Roach (Meet the Parents, Game Change). [The Wrap]

Concussion Trailer: Coming to theaters on October 4, Concussion follows one woman leading two lives: one as a suburban housewife and mother, the other as a lady who loves other ladies as often as she can. The extremely provocative -- and very much NSFW -- red-band trailer features Robin Weigert as the woman whose passionate actions stir up a whole lot of talking and trouble. [Radius-TWC]
