China and Censorship: Moviegoers in China are lining up in large numbers for Titanic 3D, despite high ticket prices (US$24 for IMAX) and the censorship of Kate Winslet’s brief nudity. The latter has caused concern that the government is going backwards, since many say the film played uncut in China in 1998. SARFT, the agency now responsible for such matters, has not commented officially, though an imaginary quote created for satirical purposes -- “We fear that viewers may reach out their hands for a touch” -- has been picked up by a number of major outlets as though it were an official statement. Crashing Interns: Seven years ago, Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson had terrific chemistry as a pair of charming womanizers in The Wedding Crashers. They will team up again as a pair of unemployed salesmen who try to reinvent themselves in Internship, to be directed by Shawn Levy (Date Night, Real Steel). The film is based on Vaughn’s original script; his previous writing credits include The Break-Up and Couples Retreat. [The Hollywood Reporter]

Comeback Kid: Director Adrian Lyne, who made his reputation with stylish, sexy films (Flashdance, 9 1/2 Weeks, Fatal Attraction), was poised to make his comeback last year with a thriller called Back Roads that would have starred Andrew Garfield. That project has not come to fruition, and now Lyne, 71 years young, is in talks to direct The Associate, based on a novel by John Grisham that follows a recent college graduate forced to take a job from a questionable firm. Once again, Andrew Garfield is under consideration to star. [Showblitz]

Calm Before the Storm: We showed you a very creepy image from Ridley Scott’s upcoming Prometheus the other day, so, to balance that, here’s one featuring Michael Fassbender in a pensive mood. It comes from a contest sponsored by Verizon utilizing an app with exclusive content from the movie. [AVPGalaxy]
