Harlan Ellison has voluntarily dropped a copyright infringement lawsuit against the makers of
In Time. As
our own Peter Hall detailed at the time, the lawsuit alleged that the film ripped off his award-winning short story “Repent, Harlequin! Said the Ticktockman,” but Ellison has now seen the film … and wisely decided not to pursue matters. (
