RoboCop: The new version of RoboCop has been a good-sized hit overseas, tripling its earnings in the U.S. And it's started out like gangbusters in China, where a 3D edition is cleaning up at the box office, grossing more than $27 million in its first six days of release. China is the only country in the world showing the 3D version; it was converted specifically because audiences there have responded well to "enhanced format" movies. [The Hollywood Reporter]

Citizen Kane: Considered the greatest movie of all time in many circles, Citizen Kane has developed a rabid fan base for any related memorabilia. Even so, the recent sale at auction of Orson Welles' personal copy of the screenplay far exceeded expectations; selling for $164,000. The 229-page script includes notes written in pencil and pink crayon, though it's not known if the director made the notations himself or dictated them to someone else. [New York Times]

Only Lovers Left Alive Trailer: Indie darling Jim Jarmusch continues to follow his own artistic muse, lending his distinctive perspective to any film subject he tackles. Thus, his version of a vampire movie, titled Only Lovers Left Alive, is far different than what Twilight-bred audiences might expect, as illustrated by a new trailer. Tom Hiddleston, Tilda Swinton and Mia Wasikowska star; the movie opens in theaters on April 11. [Yahoo]

Tracks Trailer: Rising star Mia Wasikowska also stars in Tracks, a new adventure film from director John Curran (The Painted Veil). She plays a real-life character who decides to walk 2,000 miles across the Australian desert, accompanied in part by a photographer (Adam Driver). The movie is now playing in Australia, though a U.S. release date has not yet been announced. [Collider]
