Movie News: 'Wonder' Director Tapped for Disney's 'Prince Charming'; Mel Gibson, Frank Grillo to Star in 'Boss Level'

Prince Charming: Stephen Chbosky (Wonder, above) will rewrite and may direct a new, live-action version of Disney's Prince Charming. Matt Fogel wrote the initial draft of the script, which is said to be a "revisionist take" on the classic fairy tale character, telling the story through the eyes of the prince's disappointing brother. Daddy's Home 2

Boss Level: Mel Gibson (Daddy's Home 2, above) and Frank Grillo (The Purge: Election Year) are in talks to star in action thriller Boss Level. If things work out, Grillo will play a military veteran who is trapped in a time loop that ends in his death. Joe Carnahan (Stretch) wrote the screenplay and is set to direct. [Deadline]

 

Orphan Black

Destroyer: Recently we heard that Nicole Kidman will be starring in the thriller Destroyer from director Karyn Kusama (The Invitation). Now Tatiana Maslany (TV's Orphan Black, above) and Sebastian Stan (I, Tonya) are in negotiations to join the cast. Titanic

Titanic Trailer: Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet star in James Cameron's Titanic, which will return to select theaters for a one-week engagement, starting on December 1.
