The Purge: Anarchy

The Purge 3: Low-budget home-invasion thriller The Purge became a surprise box office success in 2013, inspiring this year's sequel, The Purge: Anarchy, which took the terror outdoors. Combined, the two films cost $12 million, yet have made more than $200 million worldwide. So it's natural that a third installment is on its way. Writer-director James DeMonaco will pen The Purge 3, with an eye toward directing. [Deadline]

The Last Witch Hunter

The Last Witch Hunter: Vin Diesel shared two new photos from The Last Witch Hunter, his upcoming horror-fantasy adventure. One photo features him with the equally bearded Olafur Darri Olafsson and the other with Rose Leslie, a witch who teams with him to stop her fellow witches from unleashing a deadly plague. The movie heads to release next year. [Coming Soon]

Robin Hood

Hood: Ridley Scott rebooted Robin Hood, starring Russell Crowe, as a prequel tale in 2010, but now a new reboot proposes making the legendary character part of a "shared universe" with the potential to become a franchise, featuring the outlaw and his Merry Men, with a tone somewhere between Mission: Impossible and the Fast and Furious action movies. The pitch by Cory Goodman (The Last Witch Hunter) and Jeremy Lott is for a movie titled Hood; Sony is in talks to acquire it. [The Hollywood Reporter]

Camp X-Ray

Camp X-Ray: In the riveting new trailer for Camp X-Ray, Kristen Stewart stars as a new guard at Guantanamo Bay, where she gets to know one of the detainees (Peyman Maadi) on a far more personal level than she could even have anticipated.
