Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Star Wars: The idea of a new television show set in the Star Wars universe is in active discussions between ABC and Lucasfilm. According to Channing Dungey, president of ABC Entertainment Group, "If you feel Marvel’s secretive, [Lucasfilm] takes it to a whole other level … [Talks] are ongoing. We don’t have an official timeline yet.” Dungey declined to say whether a live-action or animated show is under consideration, though an animated series, Star Wars Rebels, is already on Disney XD. Murder on the Orient Express: Back in June, we heard that Angelina Jolie Pitt (above in Changeling) might star in a new big-screen version of Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express, to be directed by Kenneth Branagh. But now comes word that the actress will not be involved with the project. Rumor has it that Charlize Theron is being eyed for a role. Branagh is still set to portray famed detective Hercule Poirot in the ensemble mystery, which takes place on a luxurious train during a snowstorm. [Variety]
