Kickboxer: Jean-Claude Van Damme starred in the 1989 martial arts movie Kickboxer, a modest box office success that spawned multiple sequels. Now a reboot has been announced, with Alain Moussi, Georges St. Pierre (UFC welterweight champion) and Dave Bautista of the WWE (and Guardians of the Galaxy, above) set to star. Similar to the original, the reboot will follow an American who goes to Asia to avenge his brother; Hong Kong's Stephen Fung will direct. [Screen Daily]

Martin Scorsese and Thelma Schoonmaker

British Stamps: In the U.K., the Royal Mail has launched a new series of stamps to honor six key British films, including A Matter of Life and Death; Martin Scorsese and Thelma Schoonmaker (widow of the film's director, Michael Powell) were on hand for the occasion. Other films honored with stamps were Lawrence of Arabia, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Chariots of Fire, Secrets & Lies and Bend It Like Beckham. [Telegraph]

Bond 24: With cameras set to roll for the 24th installment of the James Bond franchise later this year, the casting process has begun. Eight actresses, including Synnove Macody Lunn (from Headhunters, above) have been tested for the role of a Scandanavian woman "with a troubled past who will serve as a brief love interest for Bond." The lead female role, however, will be British, opposite Daniel Craig as 007. [Den of Geek]

Edge of Tomorrow Trailer: Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt star in the sci-fi action movie Edge of Tomorrow, which will open in theaters on June 6. A new, extended trailer explains the setup, as inexperienced combat soldier Cruise finds himself repeating the same disastrous day over and over again -- until he gets better. Look out, aliens!
