Black Panther

Born a Crime: Lupita Nyong'o (Black Panther, above) will star in Born a Crime, an adaptation of a memoir by Trevor Noah, host of Comedy Central's The Daily Show. Noah was born in South Africa, the son of a white father and a black mother, which was a crime at the time. Nyong'o will play Noah's mother, described by her son as a strong-willed, fiercely religious and loving woman who survived being shot in the head by Noah's stepfather. [Deadline]

Now comes word that another reboot of The Muppets (above) is also likely, along with potential film reboots of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, The Parent Trap and Father of the Bride. [THR]
