Guardians of the Galaxy

Guardians of the Galaxy: Marvel has not released much information about the villains in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy, due out on August 1, but a new photo gives Korath the Accuser (Djimon Hounsou) his moment in the spotlight. Steven Spielberg

Steven Spielberg: When can we see more movies directed by Steven Spielberg? Release dates have now been set for two previously announced projects that will be helmed by the legendary filmmaker. First up is an untitled Cold War thriller starring Tom Hanks, due in theaters on October 16, 2015; the Coen brothers are working on a rewrite of the script. Less than a year later comes the family-friendly adventure The BFG, which is set for July 1, 2016, based on a children's novel by Roald Dahl that is being adapted by Melissa Mathison (E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial). Zero Dark Thirty

Bowe Bergdahl: The recent release from captivity of U.S. Army soldier Bowe Bergdahl has sparked plenty of controversy -- as well as two competing film projects. Writer Mark Boal and producing partner Kathryn Bigelow (Zero Dark Thirty, above) are behind one project, while writer-director Todd Field (In the Bedroom) is developing another one, based on a Rolling Stone magazine article by the late, distinguished journalist Michael Hastings. Let's Be Cops

Let's Be Cops Trailer: The new, profanity-filled, red-band (NSFW, Not Safe for Work) trailer for Let's Be Cops shows just how far pretend policemen Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr. are willing to go when it comes to solving crimes. Andy Garcia also stars as the bad guy; the movie rolls into theaters on August 16. [Yahoo]
