Movie News: 'Fifty Shades' Sequels Wrap; Watch First 'Ghostbusters' Clip

Fifty Shades of Grey

Fifty Shades: Principal photography has concluded on the two sequels to Fify Shades of Grey, according to author and producer E.L. James (below right). The movies, which star Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, have been filming in Vancouver under the direction of James Foley (below left). Fifty Shades Darker is scheduled for release on February 10, 2017, while Fifty Shades Freed is set to open in theaters on February 9, 2018. [Instagram]

The Nut Job 2

The Nut Job 2: Jackie Chan has joined the voice cast of The Nut Job 2. The actor, whose voice credits include the Kung Fu Panda trilogy of animated features, will portray Mr. Feng, the leader of a gang of city mice. Will Arnett, Katherine Heigl, Maya Rudolph and Jeff Dunham lead the voice cast for the sequel, which will open theatrically on May 19, 2017. [Deadline]

 

Ghostbusters

Ghostbusters Clip: The first clip from Ghostbusters follows the newly-assembled team as they test out new devices intended to help them in their upcoming battles with paranoramal forces. The Intervention

The Intervention Trailer: Written and directed by actress turned filmmaker Clea DuVall, The Intervention follows four couples on a weekend away. What one of the couples doesn't know is that the hijinks are intended to mask the true goal of the weekend. Cobie Smulders, Melanie Lynskey and Natasha Lyonne lead the ensemble cast.
