Doctor Strange: Rumor has it that Morgan Freeman, Bill Nighy and Ken Watanabe have been "approached" for a key role in Marvel's Doctor Strange, due for release on November 4, 2016. Whoever is cast will play the Ancient One. In the original comic book series, he was a sorcerer who mentored Doctor Strange (to be played by Benedict Cumberbatch) as well as Mordo, who turned to evil and may be a character in the movie. Disney's The Jungle Book

The Jungle Book: The first concept art for Disney's The Jungle Book has been released, suggesting an evocative look for the upcoming new version of Rudyard Kipling's collection of stories. Young Neel Sethi will star as Mowgli, with Bill Murray, Idris Elba and Scarlett Johansson set to voice various computer-animated animals. King Kong (2005)

Kong: Skull Island: Formerly known as Skull Island, the King Kong (above) spin-off movie has now been retitled Kong: Skull Island. In addition, the release date has been pushed from November 4, 2016 to March 10, 2017. Tom Hiddleston will star in the origin story, which follows a team as they explore an island inhabited by dinosaurs and other primordial creatures; Jordan Vogt-Roberts (The Kings of Summer) will direct. Blackhat Trailer: A new trailer for Michael Mann's thriller Blackhat highlights a global threat. Chris Hemsworth stars as a computer hacker who is sprung from jail to capture a far more dangerous hacker.
