Wrong Answer: Michael B. Jordan and director Ryan Coogler, who've already teamed on Fruitvale Station, Creed (above) and the upcoming Black Panther, will reunite to make Wrong Answer. It's based on an article by Rachel Aviv in The New Yorker that detailed how educators in Atlanta cheated on test scores in an effort to help their students. Jordan will play a math teacher; acclaimed writer Ta-Nehisi Coates will pen the script. [Deadline



Ant-Man and the Wasp: Hannah John-Kamen (TV's Black Mirror; Killjoys, above) has joined the cast of Ant-Man and the Wasp. Her role has not been revealed yet. Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly are confirmed to be reprising their roles in the sequel; Michael Douglas and Michael Pena are expected to return as well. Director Peyton Reed will also be returning; he is cowriting the script with Gabriel Ferrari. It's slated for release on July 6, 2018. [Variety]


Mary Poppins Returns: Our first look at Emily Blunt in Mary Poppins Returns shows the actress in full costume. The sequel picks up in Depression-era London, as the children from the original, beloved classic are now grown up with their own young ones but facing a new challenge, prompting Mary to come back and help out. Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Ben Whishaw and Lin-Manuel Miranda also star; the movie will arrive in theaters on December 25, 2018. [EW]







Disorder: James Mangold (Logan, above) will direct Disorder, a loose remake of a French-language drama. The original followed a former soldier suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder who is hired to protect the wife and child of a wealthy businessman while he's away. Taylor Sheridan (Hell or High Water) has written a new version that changes things around and reportedly features "a potential franchise character." [Deadline]



Coco Trailer: The first magical trailer for Pixar's Coco introduces a young aspiring musician (voiced by Anthony Gonzalez) who finds himself transported to the mysterious Land of the Dead. The animated adventure will open in theaters on November 22. [Movieclips]
