Stuff like this always irritates the hard-core fans, but at the end of the day it's pretty harmless. To promote its K900 luxury sedan, Kia hired none other than Laurence Fishburne to reprise the character Morpheus from The Matrix trilogy in order to help sell a couple on why they need to fall in love with this new luxury automobile. From asking which key they want (blue or red) to the music and special effects, there's a little piece of the Wachowskis' sci-fi epic scattered across this entire spot. They even get a couple of Agents in there, too.

Of course Fishburne isn't the only one to reprise an iconic role for a Super Bowl TV spot. Most recently, Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo did it as a send-up to their Vacation movies, and Matthew Broderick reprised the role of Ferris Bueller in a recent spot, too. Check 'em out here.
