Morning Watch: Some Movie Songs to Inspire Your Weekend

Morning Watch: Some Movie Songs to Inspire Your Weekend

Mar 16, 2012

We woke up this morning in a good mood, partly because it's Friday, and partly because this weekend is chock-full of good comedies (21 Jump Street, Jeff, Who Lives at Home and The FP). So instead of throwing out some random videos for you to kill time watching before the boss comes back from his smoke break, we decided to theme it up and feature three movie-related musical numbers we hope will inspire your weekend and beyond.

We'll start off with this little number from The Muppets, which hits DVD and Blu-ray this coming Tuesday, March 20th.

Next, Willy Wonka himself sings a tune about using your imagination to open up new, exciting worlds.

Finally, let's get our dance on with this classic number from West Side Story that celebrates the freedom of living in America. [hat tip to @kateyrich for this suggestion]
