This Deleted Scene From 'Monster Trucks' Shows a Crazy Way to Throw a Car Off a Bridge

If you like car stunts, you're going to want to watch this deleted scene from the movie Monster Trucks. Now before you start acting like you're too cool for an irreverent kids movie about a tentacled monster that hides inside a pickup truck, this clip will definitely appeal more to a physics-aware adult than you might think.

The deleted scene is simple enough. Creech, the monster, is trying to track someone on the road, but gets stuck in traffic. So naturally Creech jumps off a bridge, as we all are wont to do when stuck in traffic.

But what's particularly neat here is seeing how the scene was actually done. For a movie that obviously has a bunch of CGI in it, it's cool to see that they kept some things very practical. Like tossing a truck into the air and yanking it off a bridge.

Check it out.

Monster Trucks is out today on FandangoNOW and other Digital HD platforms. The above scenes, and more, are available on Digital HD and the Blu-ray, which hits on April 11, 2017.
