To be perfectly honest, I really don't want to be writing this post right now. The selfish jerk inside me doesn't want a single other person on this rock to know that Alamo Drafthouse art partner Mondo has licensed the Back to the Future trilogy from Universal and that they'll be selling the first four poster designs Friday, March 2nd.
But, alas, the desire to share these cool tributes to one of geekdom's most beloved film franchises trumps our desire to be selfish and keep as many people as possible in the dark to their existence, so that when they do go on sale, buying them is painless. Instead, we'll direct you to follow @MondoNews on Twitter tomorrow for the precise sale enough. Fair warning, though, we'll still be sending out negative vibes to all competing ISPs in the hope you're all offline when the sale does hit.
Phantom City creative designed the posters, which are each 18 "x 24" and screen printed. There is a variant, however, that combines all three into a single 16" x 36" screen print limited to only 115 copies. A set will cost you $88, while the variant will set you back $120.
