DreamWorks' animated adventure
Megamind starring the voices of Brad Pitt,
Will Ferrell and
Tina Fey debuts on DVD and Blu-ray on February 25. Even though the film was released in theaters in 3D, there is no word yet of an accompanying Blu-ray 3D version, although DreamWorks seems to like releasing its Blu-ray 3D titles as retailer exclusives (see
The Last Dragon and the four
Shrek movies). Both the DVD and Blu-ray will contain a deleted scene, "Inside Megamind’s Lair," "AnimatorMan," "You Can Draw Megamind," "The Reign of Megamind—Video Comic Book," "Spot the Difference," "Mega Rap," filmmakers' commentary and "Meet the Cast of
Megamind." Blu-ray mega-exclusives are "The Animators' Corner," a trivia track, "Comic Creator" and "Behind the Mind." In addition, fans can enjoy the return of Megamind and Minion in an all-new animated clip titled
Megamind: The Button of Doom, which is included on the discs for an unspecified limited time.
