Over the weekend Warner Bros. debuted the first two teaser trailers for next summer's Man of Steel with The Dark Knight Rises. There are two versions of this teaser, both highlighting the two men who no doubt help shape both Clark Kent and Superman throughout the film. One teaser features a voiceover from Pa Kent (Kevin Costner), with the other a voiceover from Supes' biological pop, Jor-El (Russell Crowe).
We heard rumblings of people being disappointed with these teasers, but understand they are exactly that: teasers. We saw a whole ton more footage at comic-con that was pretty emotional and breathtaking, so know there's more coming, and that "more" looks sharp, grounded, somewhat spiritual and sorta Batman Begins-ish. We dug the hell out of it.
Man of Steel hits theaters on June 14th, 2013. It's directed by Zack Snyder, produced by Christopher Nolan, and stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon and more.
