Straight from the set of Star Trek 2, Simon Pegg and Karl Urban decided to wish the British sci-fi comic 2000 AD a happy 35th birthday, and in the process we got our first taste of what Urban potentially sounds like as Judge Dredd in his upcoming adaptation of the popular comic character who's been featured many times across the pages of 2000 AD. Though we don't get any Star Trek 2 tidbits here, save for a tiny piece of Urban's blue Bones shirt, we do get to hear Urban as Dredd, and it sounds an awful lot like another popular comic character who, coincidentally, also has a film hitting theaters later this year.
