Forbes annual survey of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood was just published, and it should come as no surprise that
Kristen Stewart has topped the list.
Snow White and the Huntsman has banked a cool $248 million worldwide, proving that K-Stew has more than enough talent to carry a film without sparkly vamps and brooding werewolves. The actress made $34.5 million (May 2011-2012) and at only 22-years old, she's the youngest person on Forbes' list.
Oddly enough,
What to Expect When You're Expecting star
Cameron Diaz was her biggest competition, thanks mostly to
Bad Teacher, which made $216 million worldwide. The film ran with a $20 million budget, but Diaz traded salary for profit participation in order to keep production rolling. Luckily it paid off.
Sandra Bullock's healthy salary benefited from a similar profit sharing deal, and her paycheck for Alfonso Cuaron's upcoming
Gravity.
Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron, Julia Roberts, Sarah Jessica Parker (
Sex and the City is the gift that keeps on giving, apparently),
Meryl Streep, and
Kristen Wiig (sometimes it pays to be a bridesmaid) also fill out the other spots. See Forbes full analysis
on their website.
