The always-busy James Franco is making a movie about Lindsay Lohan — or at least a Lindsay Lohan type. According to a casting notice, the video piece will tell the story of two Hollywood celebs, including "James Franco types" and an actress resembling Lohan, ages 13, 21, 30, 45 and 60. We don't know if the stars will actually appear in the project, but Lohan has been popping up everywhere lately in an attempt to make a comeback. The controversial Tyler Shields photo shoots can only tide her audience over for so long.
We know that Lohan and Franco have a history together, going back to 2006 when they both made cameos in Nancy Meyers' The Holiday. The troubled starlet also told the New York Post last year that the two were "like best friends." An explicit photography book by the duo was supposedly on the way — shot by Terry Richardson — but there hasn't been word on the graphic compendium lately.
In other Franco film news, the actor-director has started casting for his adaptation of William Faulkner's As I Lay Dying. Producers were looking for "white boys 8 to 10 years old, who can play a young-looking, country boy with a slight rebellious and dreamy nature" and "white girls age 16 to 25, who are described as clean-kept, attractive girls." "Men of all races ages 40 and older" will play supporting roles.
It all sounds weird and wonderful, as The Playlist
also states, and we're curious to see how it unfolds. You?
