Audiences can't seem to get enough of grown men getting in touch with their inner deranged teenager. The entire Jackass
posse—including Johnny Knoxville
, Bam Margera, Steve-O
, Chris Pontius, Preston Lacy and Jason "Wee Man" Acuna—returns for more revolting practical jokes in Jackass 3
. The third chapter in the cinematic series based on the popular TV show reaches new highs (or is it lows?) in depraved humor and juvenile antics. Paramount is bringing the theatrical and unrated versions home on March 8 on DVD and Blu-ray with a boatload of extras, including an MTV making-of special, 11 deleted scenes, 29 outtakes and the theatrical version. The biggest joke of all is that the theatrical version can be watched in classic 3D—yes, the kind with the red-and-blue anaglyph glasses instead of the superior Blu-ray 3D technology. Hey, Paramount: take note that Jackass
fans want to see their flying feces in full high-definition 3D, so please catch up with the times.
