See How the Intense Hotel Fight Scene in 'Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit' Was Shot

Jack Ryan isn't like other cinematic CIA agents. Sure, he used to be a Marine, but he's hardly an expert in martial arts. He's not James Bond or Jason Bourne. He doesn't kill people for a living. He's a desk-bound analyst who happens to find himself deployed in the field after he uncovers a plot to demolish the American economy. And that's why newly minted Jack Ryan Chris Pine's first fight scene in Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit is so damned intense.

The Kenneth Branagh-directed film is available in digital HD today, three weeks ahead of its debut on Blu-ray, DVD and other VOD services. And to celebrate we've got a clip from the film's bonus features that shows how the hotel fight scene was carefully constructed to basically be the opposite of the fighting scenes you've seen in most other spy movies.
