It's always impressive to see someone with an extreme amount of limited resources re-create the trailer for a megablockbuster and have it actually resemble the real thing, albeit a low-budget version of the real thing. Thanks to the 2008 movie Be Kind Rewind this low-budget fan re-creation process is now called "sweding," and while we've seen it done to a number of trailers since then, there's just something kinda awesome about this Thai-made sweded trailer for Iron Man 3.
We're not sure if it's the various cardboard Iron Man suits, the toy house that's about to be blown up, the Thai version of Tony Stark with a badass neck tattoo or the dude who's dressed up as Pepper Potts (okay it was the dude in blond hair who sold us), but when this thing comes together it's sort of magical.
Kudos to its creators. More Thai sweded trailers please.
Oh, and after you watch that you can read our spoiler-free review of the film, in theaters this Friday.
