Image(s) of the Day: Crazy Posters for Movies People Are Actually Trying to Make

Nov 09, 2011

You gotta love the American Film Market, mainly because once you move past all the bigger upcoming titles that are searching for foreign distribution and the like, you find yourself amidst a sea of the most ridiculous looking movies you've ever seen -- all of them quietly and not-so-quietly on the hunt for production funds, distribution, and basically anything that'll help get their film made. As such, you see a lot of B-movies at this thing; stuff that usually finds its way to a late-night programming block on the Sci-Fi Channel. We admit that, at first, we thought these were simply hilarious fan-made B-movie posters until we realized that, nope, these are actually real "sell sheets" for films at this year's American Film Market that are looking for a little love (and a home ... and a hug)

Will any of these ever get made? God we hope so. Check out a bunch of the posters below, courtesy of Wired.
