Tweeting from the set in Bulgaria yesterday afternoon, Arnold Schwarzenegger shared this image of himself, Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis together for The Expendables 2, which will feature Schwarzenegger's much-hyped return to the big screen in a larger capacity now that he's no longer the Governor of California. And if you thought The Expendables was an 80's action buff's wet dream, then wait till you get a load of the sequel. This one brings back some of the folks from the first one (Stallone, Statham, Randy Couture, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Bruce Willis) and adds to that a little Jean-Claude Van Damme, Liam Hemsworth, Chuck Norris, and possibly Nicolas Cage and John Travolta. Man, we just had an 80s-gasm.
The Expendables 2 is due in theaters on August 17th, 2012, and will be directed this time by Simon West.
