Here's Where the "Pizza Planet" Truck is Hidden in Pixar's 'Brave'

Jul 03, 2012

It's become a running gag throughout the years for Pixar to insert the Pizza Planet truck from 1995's Toy Story into all of their films (except for The Incredibles). For fans, it's always been fun trying to figure out where they're hiding it -- from its most obvious placement in WALL-E (which was the only film that showed off the truck's engine) to its less obvious placement in films like Cars (it's parked at the Los Angeles International Speedway) and Ratatouille (you can see it on a bridge in the background during a chase scene).

Pixar's Brave has continued the tradition of hiding the Pizza Planet truck somewhere in the film. While it might seem like a tough movie to squeeze it into -- what with it being set in the highlands of 10th century Scotland -- those wizards of Pixar did manage to give the truck a cameo in a scene featuring The Witch. Check it out ...

As you can see in the image above, The Witch is carving a few things out of wood, and one of those things is the Pizza Planet truck.

In addition to that little easter egg, they also hid of carving of Sully from Monsters Inc. (and the upcoming prequel Monsters University) inside the home of the Witch. See that image below, both courtesy of Disney/Pixar.
