The Final 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2' Trailer Hits; J.K. Rowling Teases New 'Pottermore' Website

Jun 16, 2011

The time has come for Warner Bros. to reveal the final trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2, and therefore the final Harry Potter trailer ever. Well, movie trailer, that is. We'll get Harry Potter game trailers and merchandise trailers ... and trust us, they ain't lettin' this boy go so easily. Case in point: J.K. Rowling is already set to announce a new website called Pottermore in six days from now; a website many believe will be some sort of ultimate Harry Potter fansite, complete with chat rooms, message boards, interactive games and more. We wouldn't be surprised if they stream all eight films on there too. A major franchise like this needs an official home for the years to come, and they'd be smart to make Pottermore exactly that.

But the announcement for that website is still a few days away, so while we wait to see what else Rowling her up her magic sleeve, check out the final Harry Potter movie trailer below. It's epic in every conceivable way, and it'd be hard for even the Voldemort Fan Club not to find chills running throughout their bodies as this thing plays itself out for the last time.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 arrives in theaters on July 15th. You can now get a head start by purchasing your tickets over at Fandango (cause you know all those first shows will sell out real quick), and enjoy the trailer below.
