Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 Is More Magical on Blu-ray This April

Feb 03, 2011

It's hard to believe that boy wizard Harry Potter is, not only a man now, but his cinematic journey is coming to an end. The first part of the grand finale—Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part 1—is arriving on DVD and Blu-ray on April 15, a few months before the final chapter arrives in theaters on July 15. Both the DVD and Blu-ray will contain additional scenes, but the similarities end there. If you go hog wild for Hogwarts and haven't yet upgraded to Blu-ray, Deathly Hallows might cast a spell over you. Its Blu-ray exclusives include an interactive viewing mode, a recap of important moments from the previous films that lead up to the final battle in Deathly Hallows: Part 2, a sneak peek at Part 2, several behind-the-scenes featurettes, and footage of the cast as they visit the grand opening of the The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal in Orlando, Florida.
