Halloween Filler: The Films of Tim Burton, The Death of a Ghostbuster and Steve Buscemi Gets Killed A Lot

Oct 31, 2011

Happy Halloween to all you movie nerds out there. While you spend the day killing time till it's dark enough to go collecting candy from your neighbors (while you simultaneously egg their house), we're here to keep you company with some fun holiday-themed videos to watch.

First up, there's nothing like watching a Tim Burton movie on Halloween because the filmmaker's aesthetic almost always fits in perfectly with the mood of the season. From his quirky Danny Elfman scores to his freaky original characters, there's plenty material here that's perfect for Halloween. Might we recommend Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice or The Nightmare Before Christmas for those looking to color this year's Halloween with a little Tim Burton-esque weirdness. Or you can just play this fan-made montage over and over and over again.

Ever wonder what really happens when a Ghostbuster crosses the streams? According to this cute short, the Ghostbuster in question gets fired and subsequently wonders the streets till she comes to the logical conclusion that it's not worth living anymore if she can't be a Ghostbuster. Find out what happens next by watching Death of a Ghostbuster below ...

Speaking of deaths, Steve Buscemi is an actor who dies a lot in movies. Here's a montage that reminds us of that fact called The Many Deaths of Steve Buscemi.  Keep in mind this video features a bunch of death scenes, so there will be some NSFW gore.
