A warning to those of you out there who feel the need to dress up as your favorite superhero and attempt to fight real criminals in real life: Don't do it. Seriously. Not a good idea. Go play video games, or let off some steam at the gym. Dressing up as Batman and lingering around your neighborhood waiting for bad stuff to happen isn't exactly what the sophisticated among us would label "a good use of one's time."
One such gent learned this the hard way when he was caught "hanging from the wall of a downtown business" in Petoskey, Michigan. The 31-year-old was dressed in a really bad homemade Batman costume, and carrying with him a baton, a can of chemical spray and lead-lined gloves. Needless to say, police arrested him for trespassing and possession of dangerous weapons.
The man did not comment (thought the source article does come with this awesome image), and unfortunately there's no record of what sort of vehicle (if any) he arrived in. But judging from the way he looks, chances are his Batmobile was of the 13-year-old Honda Civic variety.
