We've all been there. Someone in your life starts developing a habit that you just cannot stand. It doesn't even have to be an intimate partner, either. It can just be a friend who develops a particular quirk that will slowly but surely drive you over the cliffs of insanity. That's what Matt Spicer's delightfully twisted short film It's Not You, It's Me is all about.
The dark comedy stars Gillian Jacobs (Community) and Fran Kranz (The Cabin in the Woods) as a couple who just aren't cut out for each other. You can probably predict what happens next, but even if you think you've got this short figured out, just keep watching. It's got a pretty fantastic punchline at the end.
It's only 11 minutes long, but it's worth every second of it, especially for fans of Jacobs, who really shines as a woman with a very specific pet peeve.
