  • Ghost Rider Rides Again Nicolas Cage might be the only person who cares, but he announced this week that a deal has officially been signed. The Dark Knight scripter David S. Goyer and directors Neveldine and Taylor are on board, making this project look marginally more interesting than the original Ghost Rider.
  • Men, Save Yourselves! After the MPAA made Youtube take down the dare-we-say brilliant fan-created trailer for The Expendables that urges men to take back their theaters from the Twilight movies and imminent estrogen threat presented by Eat Pray Love, it's thankfully back and thriving without the offending profanity.
  • Can You Say Borrrrrinnnggg? • Love Her Modern Family’s Julie Bowen has signed on to do two comedies, one of them featuring an all-star cast of Jason Bateman, Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Spacey, whose wife she’ll play. She’s one of my favorite characters on the show, so I can’t wait to see her on the big screen.

Now word’s spreading that his replacement will be Joaquin Phoenix--because what, the actor who retired to start a rapping career will be so much easier to work with?
  • Lovable Him Despicable Me blew expectations and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse out of the water at the box office last weekend, earning some $56 million. And people are wondering why Steve Carell would leave The Office for his movie career.
